Manuel Antonio national park

Manuel Antonio village includes a national park with three beautiful white sand beaches and breathtaking nature. Expect to see monkeys, including the low growling howler monkey and the curious white faced monkey.(Be careful of your belongings on the beach, they might just get snatched up by one of these mischievous creatures). This park has it all; swimmable tropical beaches, lush forest, rocky island views and abundant animal life. After visiting the park you can dine in one of the various restaurants and enjoy live music in the evening.

Quepos

Quepos, 7 kilometers below Manuel Antonio, is a great fishing village and is an inexpensive place to spend the night. Young people will not be bored in this town, as there is plenty of nightlife.

There are several public buses to Quepos and Manuel Antonio from San Jose. It will take you about 3 ½ or 4 ½ hours to go there by public bus.(US$4),-. The entrance fee to the national park is about US$7
