Irazu Volcano Costa Rica

This cheap and beautiful tour is just 1 ½ hours from San José. You can enjoy this charming and active volcano, whose ashes fertilize the nearby lands. In addition, the volcano has a lake in the active crater. You cannot walk to the lake, however you can go to the viewing point in which you are able see both the Pacific and the Caribbean coasts on cloudless days.

Prices

The best way to get to Irazú is by public bus (2 hours). This bus is US $4 and the entrance will cost about US $7.
