The National Theater Costa Rica
The National Theatre is known as one of the most beautiful historic buildings in the capital of San Jose. The exquisite interior, lavish furnishings, cultural history and high quality performances make it very worth a visit!
The historic building has been constructed with tax raised on coffee, a former principal export product of Costa Rica. It therefore represents one of the cultural assets of the country and the Ticos attach great value to it.
As part of the language experience of our students, we like to show them this magnificent work of art and take them to performances. Many different artists visit the theatre to perform, resulting in a great variety of plays and concerts of the highest quality!
