Manuel Antonio national park
Manual Antonio national park is the smallest national park of Costa Rica, but it makes it up for it with its diversity of wildlife and beauty. The combination of rainforest, beaches and coral reefs attract many tourists each year, you could say, this park has it all! The park is easily accessed, especially from Quepos, a town north of Manuel Antonio. ?There are many nice restaurants you can have dinner at after you visited the park and also enjoy the live music in the evenings.
Quepos
Quepos is the closest village near Manuel Antonio, located only 7km to the north. It is an inexpensive place to stay the night when wanting to visit Manuel Antonio national park and you will not get bored easily, because there is an active nightlife.
Prices
You can take the bus from San Jose to either Quepos or Manual Antonio, this will take you around 4 hours and will cost about US $10. The entrance fee to the national park is US $15. There are one day tours available to Manuel Antonio that cost around US $100 and include transportation, entrance to the national park and a bilingual guide.
