The Great Masters of Art in Costa Rica: Degas, Picasso, Renoir, Warhol and more!
The National Gallery, located inside the Children’s Museum, holds a very precious collection at the moment. Great artists as Degas, Picasso, Renoir and Warhol will be represented during the special Herencia del Art (Art Heritage) exhibit, showing their paintings, drawings, sketches, photographs and sculptures. You can also expect to see works of Alberto Giacometti, Edgar Degas, Henry Matisse, Jasper Johns, Paul Gauguin, Pierre-Auguste Renoir and Robert Rauschenberg.
The Art Heritage exhibit is scheduled to begin April 28th and will continue until June 28th. It will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. from Monday through Friday and from 9:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on the weekends. The entrance is free of charge. Make sure to leave unnecessary backpacks at home, since no backpacks, purses, briefcases or cameras will be allowed at this exhibit.
