To my dear friends at Universal,
I wanted to send you this e-mail to share a little bit about my experience studying Spanish at Universal de Idiomas on two different occasions in 2012. I was fortunate to have spent nearly a month at the school in July of 2012 and then again for another several weeks in October. I remember my time there fondly and strongly recommend the programs that the school provides.
Universal made the training feel very personal. When I arrived, Dennis immediately assessed my level of experience with Spanish and set me up with an instructor. Since my level was a little more advanced than some of the other students, I was set-up with an individual instructor for my first week. During my subsequent weeks I was able to attend class with students from all around the world. There is a lot of diversity at Universal which made the experience even more rich!
I enjoyed my time with my instructors so much that I wanted more! I ended up taking personal lessons in the afternoon which meant that many days I was at the school for 6 or 7 hours a day. These classes are not “fluff” classes. The classes were conducted all in Spanish and I really learned a significant amount and I did so rather quickly. Each of the instructors were extremely competent and effective as teachers. It’s one thing to have a strong working knowledge of Spanish, but to also know how to teach students at different skill levels and from different cultures is truly a gift. Universal has amazingly gifted instructors! I appreciate and want to recognize each one of them: Dennis, Aldo, Karen and Tatiana.
Yor is also a tremendous asset to the Universal familia! She was extremely helpful during my time there, was always looking out for me, and has continued to stay in touch. Universal is truly like a family? a family that I think of fondly and would like to visit with soon!
