Compliments from our Students

While on my trip in Costa Rica, I soon discovered that I may need to pick up a bit of Spanish if I want any luck getting around without to much hassle. I whipped out my handy soul eating smartphone and went to work googling near by places. I came across Universal de Idiomas and went in right away to set up class.
The business was easy to find, on a main street with a pleasant sign hanging above the door way. surrounded by lots of excellent food, which I quickly found a favorite across the street. I walked up stairs and found Yor sitting behind the desk. She was kind, funny, and patient. She helped me look through the available classes and with her guidance was able to pick out a class that suited my needs. For the next week I would be spending a couple hours each morning learning spanish with other travelers like my self.
Those classes were amazing! Dennis was funny and patient, he only spoke Spanish but would understand our questions and answer them completly and gave us confidence to try what we learned. Eager, I soon found myself talking to just about everybody I ran into in the streets. The smiles and delighted helpfulness made me understand that my teachers weren't just in the class room. Although thanks to Universal de Idiomas, I was able to understand and appreciate the life and culture of Costa Rica. They gave me a hint towards the Pura Vida life they lived, and I can't possibly thank them enough.
What's more is that seeing my interest in dancing, they offered Salsa and other dance lessons along with the language classes. Which turned out to be massive amounts of fun. They took us to the national theater, and even helped me find a place to stay for the remainder of my trip.
I'll never forget the amount of care and time that the Universal de Idiomas gave for me. I'll never forget the friends I've made in Costa Rica. And it all began with walking in and saying "Hola!"
